I stepped out of my apartment for 20 minutes to buy some drinks and my little sister updates the PS3 firmware today...

I guess I'm screwed? I want to be able to jailbreak my PS3 to host modded lobbies in MW2.

So there's absolutely nothing I can do besides buy a new PS3 console?

keep the ps downgrade and jailbreak for id say two weeks, they might have another breakthrough dude, no use wasting more money

Oh lol, sorry^^ and yes, wait 1-2 weeks and hope someone will discover a new way to downgrade.

I know but the guys behind the PSJailbreak seem like scammers/thieves($100 for a usb stick?). If they have another breakthrough they will probably require people to buy more stuff just to jailbreak 3.55.

I only ordered the stick out of desperation since using their PSjailbreak/PSdowngrade seemed to be the only way to downgrade from 3.50 to 3.41.

Well would you rather pay like $300 for a ps3 or $100 for a usb stick?
I have a 3.50 ps3 that I havent used in about two weeks if you want it btw though? I bought an xbox recently and sold all ps3 games, just realised as I posted this lol, I'd sell it for like $100
