(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Now that the new FW 3.55 has been released,
I have an idea.

Sony recognises the 3.55 update on the console whenever it checks on the internet, so if we hex edit the 3.41 firmware and change it to 3.55, we may have tricked the PS3 into stickng 3.41 firmware on 3.55.

I am going to test this tomorrow, if anyone wants to test it tonight, let me know. :y:

It can do a lot of things, as a matter of fact, it does allow signing PKGs, however I'm not sure if that's direct from service mode, or on a program using the master key, I'm not sure about signing firmware though

if you go into service mode and do this you should be fine... im not 100% this is true but from what i heard most likely it will work with service mode Happy
