Tells the ps3 that whatever has the key, means it's from sony. So you can do anything you want to the ps3, as long as it has that key.

btw this is the usb master key used to run the JIG but the actual system master key is 3278572D9090D5ACAEF903CA1AB65EF1B7694CDE
