But my problem is that, my second USB port is broken and does not read any USB. So am I screwed? Is there any other way I can downgrade?

I was thinking that I can perform the downgrade on a friends PS3, Jailbreak it and get a MW2 Patch and transfer it to my PS3?

Buy a more expensive chip or wait about a week and a few methods will be ported to iPhones, droids, ti-84 calcs etc, for free provded you have the right hardware
