Enabled Factory/Service Mode - install openiboot with bootlace and then
you need to copy the zImage and android.img.gz files into /private/var/idroid

Tutorial:
Prepare a blank USB memory stick with only 2 files on it: Lv2Diag.self (file 1) and the modified 3.41 PUP file(Download You must login or register to view this content.)(UPDATE with MU link)
These must be in the root of the memory stick and there must not be other files on it.

- Insert the iPhone/iPod with the downgrade firmware in your console.
- Turn on the PS3 using the standard iPhone/iPod sequence; power cycle, power on, then quickly press eject. After a very short while the PS3 will power off.
- Turn on the PS3 to confirm that it is in Service Mode.(You should see a red box on the screen saying Factory Service Mode)
- Turn off the PS3 and remove iPhone/iPod.
- Insert the USB memory stick with the 2 files on in the rightmost USB port of the PS3 and turn it on. The screen will be black,
but the LED on the PS3 will blink.
– Wait 3 minutes for the system to install the old FW, towards the end the power button on the console will start flashing green and then your console will power off.
- Remove the USB memory stick and turn on the PS3. It will still be in service mode.

- Insert USB drive in PC, delete the 2 files, and copy LV2Diag.self (file 2) to it.
- Insert USB memory stick and power on the PS3. After approximately 10 seconds it will power off.
- Remove the memory stick and power on the PS3. The procedure is now complete.

Im still D/Ling the downgrade files D/L is going slowwww. Anyway can you link me how to i connect my ipod to winCSP viva USB

EDIT ive got it connected to winCSP im in the folders /private/var/idroid BUT i cant find the idroid in the var folder

EDIT again - k ive made that idroid folder and ive put them files in, Now im just waiting for thw DGR to D/L

Could you please explain what exactly you do on the ipod/iphone?

You must install Bootlace from Cydia, then Open Bootlace, install OpeniBoot, then install iDroid.

Or do u mean something else?

Ok im already to downgrade but i have 1 Q can i host MW2 Cl somehow without having the real PSjailbreak ?

U can use that method if u want yes.
But u can also, install like i said above, and install OpenSSH from Cydia.
And use WinSCP and SSH into ur iPod/iPhone, and scroll to the folder of iDroid.

Thanks alot just found out after all this time I have 2G Itouch lol, Can I borrow someones 3g Iphone take a backup on my computer, jailbreak it, use it to downgrade and jailbreak my ps3, put custom cod patches on for challenge lobbies, upgrade my ps3 to 3.55 and host challenge lobbies then restore the iphone from the backup saved and nothing is lost? (Except the Blue-ray player)
