i have got a serious problem.

i just want downgrade my ps3 fat 40gb from fw 3.42 to 3.41.

i download everything and i got into the factary mode.

after i pluged in my usb stick with the downgrade stuff. my ps3 only power led is blinking and i waite couple of time then i remove the stick and look after the update logfile and in that file was written, a failuer after erasing the flash.

and now my ps3 do nothing it goes on hdd led is blinken and then goes off.

whats wrong with my ps3, iam able to rescue my ps3.

please help me.

Holy shit..I just ordered one of these.. people are saying they has problems,you got some reallt bad luck bro , but I hope you fix it.

so my system works again. i changed the usb stick to my older one.

and it works.

so it is not the problem of the e3.

it was my f** usb stick.


ok but bluray movies doesn't work, but this will be fixed soon.

can u tell me what u did to make it work again

i just used an other usb flash stick to put the downgrade files on it.

the modified pup and the self diag data from folder one.

and then it works like a charm.

did u put it in the last usb slot?

i put it in the usb slot near to the bd rom.

i brought a faulty 3.42 ps3 to downgrade, so i don't care if it goes wrong, can re-try
