PSDowngrade just makes the ps3 go into service mode which allows to install previous firmwares. That's all it does

from wat i read online it is done throu linux not saying its true. but also i emailed PSJailbreak and they said that its linux too. so if it is not linux then someone explain please?

no it was another. there got to be a way cause they PSjailbreak is only linux some ram and memory

The ps3 does not run linux. Honestly if you are going to try and have a technical conversation/suggestion you should know what you are even starting to talk about.
