Post: PS3 Break USB YLOD

So I got a new PS3Break USB the 1.2 version, I have a USBBreak and a PS3Break 1.0.
Why does my PS3's fan go full blast and give me the YLOD??
I put the USB in, power up the PS3 jailbroken, the fan goes to full blast within 20-30 seconds and a message appears saying PS3 is to hot, the light starts changing red to green etc for about 30 seconds, PS3 shuts down and then I get a yellow light and then flashing red.
The PS3 will turn back on for only the same thing to happen, this happens with every new PS Jailbreak device I plug in.
This has happened once before as well and for 2 days the PS3 kept giving me "YLOD" but after it went back to normal.
This morning the PS3 just about stayed on for me to update to 3.55. The fans back to being normal but still noisy. The PS3Break USB's are legit because I used the code to check on the website.
It's UK launch day model 60GB PS3. Does anyone know why this happens with me?

nt sure man but i have your exact ps3 (first model 60GB) and the same jailbreak and mine works fine so idk

No, I plug in any jailbreak device and the fan goes full speed, the sound from the fan is around 55-60db when fans at level 2 on XMB pushing hot air out, with jailbreak device, the fans at like level 6 or 7 pushing out cold air and I recorded sound levels over 100db.
The PS3 goes back to being normal after resetting it but I just upgraded to 3.55 this time and the fans back to normal.

Ah well, I'll wait for a 3.55 hack, I hope the PS3Break 1.2 will be upgradeable if a hack does come for 3.55.

I thought the same thing, but this being with my Blu Ray drive shitting out on me the day Black Ops released. I blamed it all on Black Ops, but the thing was that it was just a bad laser.
Although, you situation sounds more like your PS3 rejecting the USB devices, rather than something being wrong with the console's soft/hardware.
