Transfer the "ps3jb89.89z" assembly program to your TI-89 Titanium OR "PS3JB.8xk" to TI-84 using the link for your platform:

Mac OS X: TI Connect
Windows : TI Connect or TiLP
Linux : TiLP

For TI Connect under Windows, for example, you can run "TI DeviceExplorer" and drag-and-drop the file into the window, or right-click the file and choose "Send to TI Device."

Once transferred, you should see "ps3jb89" in the VAR-LINK menu (by pressing [2nd]+[-]). Run the program by highlighting "ps3jb89", pressing [ENTER], pressing [)], and pressing [ENTER] again..

The main menu is displayed at the top of the LCD. The options are:

1: Jailbreak
2: Install
3: Uninstall
4: Options

You must login or register to view this content.
You can enable this by selecting "Yes" in the Options ([F4]). You will also need the accompanying .self and .pup files found You must login or register to view this content.

- Once enabled, just select "1) PS3 Jailbreak" or install the hook as usual.
- Turn on the PS3 using the standard Cal sequence; power cycle, power on, then quickly press eject. After a very short while the PS3 will power off.
- Turn on the PS3 to confirm that it is in Service Mode.(You should see a red box on the screen saying Factory Service Mode)
- Turn off the PS3 and remove Cal.
- Insert the USB memory stick with the 2 files on in the rightmost USB port of the PS3 and turn it on. The screen will be black,
but the LED on the PS3 will blink.
– Wait 3 minutes for the system to install the old FW, towards the end the power button on the console will start flashing green and then your console will power off.
- Remove the USB memory stick and turn on the PS3. It will still be in service mode.

If you wish to downgrade to an earlier firmware you can do so now, there is no need to use modified custom PUP when the firmware has already been downgraded to 3.41.Quote me for different Firmware like 3.15.

- Insert USB drive in PC, delete the 2 files, and copy LV2Diag.self (file 2) to it.
- Insert USB memory stick and power on the PS3. After approximately 10 seconds it will power off.
- Remove the memory stick and power on the PS3. The procedure is now complete.

Note to everyone: I lost everything on my PS3. I dunno' what happened, but, I believe, when setting up the new PS3, I had to make a new account, whilst in the video, he did not. Just a heads up. If you have to make a new account, chances are, if you, like me, didn't back stuff up, your ****ed. ^^.
