1. go into service mode using ti-84
2. go down to 3.41
3. go down to 2.10 (to still be able play BD)
4. go back up to 3.41 (not modified)

I went back up to the non modified 3.41 using the normal system update via usb option. It seemed to be going fine but then a red screen came up saying "a serious error has occurred. Please contact technical support". This now comes up every time I turn my ps3 on.
Please, Please tell me this is fixable...

Any one that helps will get my love and some +rep...

Will it boot into service mode again using your dongle?

Last time I had the red screen it required me to send it to sony. But all I think it meant was that it had a bad/incomplete flash on it.

I'll try it brb.

It did the turn on then off but when I turned it back on there was still the red screen...:cry:

try updating with the modified 3.41 pup.

by doing the same process as if I was downgrading to it?
put that with the Lv2daig.self in my flashdrive then last port on the right and do power cycle?
