PSX-SCENE user atreyu187 has tested the newly released EcliPS3 Downgrader app. The team claims no loss of Blu-Ray playback when using their downgrader!

So the EcliPS3 team came through on their promise and released a AIO payload/downgrader tool. And they have made a big promise, no removal of bluray playback with their downgrader. Now I tested this on NTSC PS3 120gb Slim because I had a backup of all my dev_flash files but there was no need. I tested 9 bluray's and all worked perfectly. Now I am not promising that this will work for everyone like the team says but I can testify for myself and it works fantastic. Not surprising from the first team with the "Import Paylod/Hex Option" IMO. So many have followed suit that it isn't funny when it was an included feature with this dongle from day one. So go grab yours for around $10 USD or less shipped or just wait till everyone again follows suit of the EcliPS3 team and repairs their downgraders.

Here is the release of our 1.4c Firmware.

This firmware update includes the downgrader and the new V1.4 Eclipse Firmware.

We are proud to say that Blue Ray DVD works fine with our downgrader. An updated release of V1.4 Firmware will also be done in the coming days, so check our news section
And this is a totally different from the stand alone downgrade app that may or may not remove bluray playback so make sure you update as the old set is no longer available.
