I'm trying to update my 3.41 ps3 with USB Device that contains the 3.50 firmware file ( Here's the File You must login or register to view this content.) But everytime i try to update it through removable storage it says, " No applicable update data waas found." Am i doing something wrong? What i did was download the file and drag it to my USB, then went to Settings > System Update > Update via Storage Media. Am i missing out something?

The update file has to be in an folder called UPDATE which has to be in a folder called PS3 so the file has to be within a folder which is within another folder both with those exact names. and yeah it has to be caps.

F:/PS3/Update/ps3update.pup

And make sure the removable storage Is FAT32 formatted

WTF WOULD YoU WANT TO UPDATE A 3.41 PS3 FOR???
