Well I downloaded the iphodriod thing and did the power eject and it stills says unknown device

Well im sure you have to run a program on your iphone then when it at a certain spot you need to hit power and eject quickly or another thing it could be is if you have the slim and not the fat version you need to unplug your ps3 entirely then plug it back in and repeat the process hope i could help
