psupdater v1.3 wont flash

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hi i just got my genuine psjailbreak thru the post yesterday i got it from Gadget asia and was all set up to downgrade my sons ps3 got all the files i need to downgrade and downloaded the newest psupdaterv1.3 to flash the dongle the programme reconises the dongle and gives me my serial but when i try to flash the downgrade onto it, it come up with flash failed serial xxxxxxxxxxxxxx does anyone know how to fix this ?? i would really apprecieate it sorry for the spelling

You may have the wrong files, try to open up PSUpdater v1.3 and download the files from there.

Otherwise the board may be damaged or something, if it still doesnt work after downloading the files by using the Updater, I would shoot PSJailbreak an email.

cheers mate i did as you advised and still nothing so ive emailed gadget asia to get a replacement and they should hit me back with a response tomorrow hopefully no doubt they will want me to send it back before they replace it but thanks again ill let you know how i get on

Ok bro, when you get a working device shoot me a PM, if you need any help with Jailbreaking ill be more than happy. by the way, are you trying to flash the PSDowngrade dongle or another version of PSJailbreak?
