Post: ps3 jb black screens

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok ive tried everything changing drive changing lens all that. and nothing so well lets look into payloads i know it is possible to have the ps3 check for the hdd instead of bdvd soo. yea but how do we even edit them? any helpw ill be appreciated + mods to all games if u help

it is your blu ray i have a dodgey 1 in mine i fixed using 5 post it notes lol. the ribbon that go in the motherboard cut the sticky bit of the post it note stick it to the end of the ribbon and wedge it in. should work after. i have the lid of my ps3 and if i dont manually load the disc (push the little runner up on the right side of drive) everything i click black screen like backup manager and ftp it sounds weird but it worked for me. you might have a diff problem but its worth a try. is the clip on the motherboard the ribbon go into broken? if not try with just 1 post it note to push the wire down a bit

thnx i believe all ribbons arent damaged u mean putting presure on the ribbon to make sure their making contact

yes unless your blu ray drive is knackerd. also theres a thread somewhere on here that has a guide to allow you to use homebrew with a broken blu ray that might help

are u using a patch with the correct Region? Like United States Is Blus##### The UK is Bles###.... if u dont use the correct one more and likely you would get blackscreen

ive tried everything new lens cleaning swapping drives nothing /facepalm i know we can make something to load boot ftp or load patches w/o drive o well any1 wanna help ill pay plus modz for codz

umm have you tried to format the hard drive with the disc drive still attached to (inside of) the ps3. format your hard drive in normal mode and then rejailbreak it?
