No well kinda i quick formated it then tried that safe mode its the drive tho isnt it? cuz how could messed up files after i formatted it not boot apps

well then it may just be your bluray laser reader (not sure of the actual term for it), it seems that many people have been having problems with it, some have just bought a new ps3 or tried to fix it themselves, but just wait come mid-january we should be able to sign for pkg's ourselves!! That way we can put our own programs on their that can upload the modded patches without the ftp server.
