As some of you are aware the first PS3 CFW has arrived which could be good for the hacking community, HOWEVER though feature are added through this, this actually takes away some as well.
Note the following are missing (hidden) from the PS3
-Data Utility
-SAVE DATA
-PS2/PS1/MINIS SAVE DATA
-Anything Under GAME IS MISSING
So Download at Your own risk, although Gamesave still work there is no way of backing them up the easy way (FTP once it gets sign), same with game utilities, you install no way of unistalling them. Although i Formated my system prior to this the option were still there and other users on other forums are reporting (nonformated) that there options are missing aswell.

Anyway just wanted to test this out for some of you guys, I would hold off for a bit before you download this so that fixes can be applied.
I will continue my testing.
Please report any bugs so i can edit the post an add them.
Also this is more of a Proof of concept that the idea works

HOW TO GO BACK TO OFFICIAL FIRMWARE
The PS3 will not recognize 3.55 in normal Boot Up so you must go into Recovery Menu
How to get there
1. Turn off Playstation®3.
2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.
from there, you will see an update option. Use Sony Official FW
