I herd that to do this, you have to put the ps3 in factory service mode, and then 3.55 will update off of usb. Can somebody confirm this, or is it not possible yet for an unhacked 3.55?

Save the file in the directory of your USB PS3 >> UPDATE. Then rename it as PS3UPDAT.PUP if it doesnt recognize it the first time.

ok listen bro your on 3.41 get the 3.55 ofw update do it on the xmb menu then your done now your on 3.55 ofw now get a 3.55 cfw and do the same on the xmb then your done
