I know geoHot modified the firmWare to allow unsigned pkg's to run on the system. I am going to attempt this as signing pkg's isn't going as fast as expected. I was just wondering how people got the tools working. Do you need Linux? BTW, don't start spamming the thread with shit saying I'm a noob and incapable because I'm not.

That is an advice.If you don't know what you're doing you can brick you're ps3.

I'm not going to be putting anything stupid on the PS3 unless I know it's done 100% correctly.

You can easily un-brick it using a jailbreak device and service mode.

Yup ^. Iv'e also seen other ways people have managed to unbrick their PS3.
