I know geoHot modified the firmWare to allow unsigned pkg's to run on the system. I am going to attempt this as signing pkg's isn't going as fast as expected. I was just wondering how people got the tools working. Do you need Linux? BTW, don't start spamming the thread with shit saying I'm a noob and incapable because I'm not.

I've heard it does.. look at zonetw0's thread all you need is to get into service mode i think

I heard since jailbreak does not enable 3.55 you can not do it since you need a downgrade device don't you? I will read his post.
