I'm fed up of the mass amounts of threads with questions, so I am writing this in anticipation that people who ask "does this has cod cl". It annoys me.

So, Imma get hold of links, tutorials, downloads and all that shiz.

Oh, and I will also try to answer any questions, I'll put another post below, quote it, for me to see.

Anyway.

Firmware - the software on your console:

Installing

-- CFW

1. Download the CFW that you wish to install
2. Get a USB, and Create Folders, exactly like: "PS3/UPDATE/--your .pup here--
3. Turn on your PS3, and Navigate to "System>System Update>Update from Storeage Device."
4. Follow the normal install.

--Geohot's CFW will cause the console to beep 9-10 times, and switch off. People have been taking this as a brick. TURN IT ON AGAIN.--

5. Enjoy your CFW.

If you have installed some CFW, and want to revert, enjoy.

1. Download the official firmware you want for starters.

2. If the firmware isn't already called PS3UPDAT.PUP rename it to that.

3. On the USB drive you'll be using on the root of the usb( Not already in any folders) create a folder PS3.

4. In the PS3 folder on usb create a folder UPDATE.

5. Copy the PS3UPDAT.PUP file into the update folder.

6. Put your usb into PS3 then go to system update -> update via storage media, then just install it and your back on official firmware!

There are 2 mw2 patches in pkg files already. Havoc and godly modz. They both lag badly though. They won't work as their not signed.
