(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); log when you connect to network will send to sony for check homebrew or backup manager or illegal activity...then:

Method 1:
you need to disconnect from psn and disable internet connection from ps3
then use ftp server, backup manager, file manager etc..after you finish delete the log,
open an app in ps3 like: an original game or a legit application (the log autocreate with legit id)) and enable connection and connect to psn...

Method 2:
you need to disconnect from psn and disable internet connection from ps3
then use ftp server, backup manager, file manager etc..after you finish, copy the log files to your pc and open with notepad, delete all text contains and "upload" to ps3,enable connection and connect to psn...

Use file manager for clean the log.
(for file manager it's require advance mode: press select and delete the log)

position of log file:
    -/dev_hdd0/home//etc/boot_history.dat
-/dev_hdd0/vsh/pushlist/game.dat
-/dev_hdd0/vsh/pushlist/patch.dat

*user number example:
if in your ps3 you have for example this user:
    kalakus
popos
lotres

in dev_hdd0/home/

01 = kalakus
02 = popos
03 = lotres

if you use an homebrew in user kalakus you need to enter in 01 folder for delete the log.

thanks to: RedZebra for idea to open an app after delete log for remake the log with legit ID

UPDATE:

You search for more protection ban?
see how to stealth your homebrew You must login or register to view this content.
(note by me about stealth mode:
you dont need change only homebrew name..you need to change:
HomeBrew or PKG name and ID using: PS3SFOEdit
remember to insert VALID id for stealth homebrew.
Example:
you give to Ftp Server name of: Call Of Duty Black Ops but you dont change the ID in correct mode...result?

you have an app run under name of COD Black Ops With ID of Ftp Server.
(you can see logged ID app from /dev_hdd0/home//etc/boot_history.dat)

See ID of your original game from the cover.

and see the Guide for prevent possibility ban You must login or register to view this content.

UPDATE 2:
im play:
backup games (disconnected from the internet and psn -> copy the game -> patch it -> play -> clean log -> reconnect)
ftp server in stealth mode with name and ID changed. (disconnect from psn only)
file manager (disconnect from psn only)
backup manager (disconnect from psn and internet - #see backup games procedure.)
and other

im delete log all time...and my account was not banned..so after various tests I can say it is a good way to protect themselves from the ban

Everyone is worried about Sony seeing homebrew in the logs, but they can easily tell you are on cfw by a simple checksum comparison between official fw and cfw. I really can't imagine Sony doing mass console bans as it would make Sony miss out on potential profits from the PS Store and HOME item purchases. Best way to be safe and play online is to have 2 or more consoles, one on cfw/jailbroken and one legit on ofw and newest firmware. Sony will not run checks on game patches to see if they are modded, that's up to the game maker.

Someone should create a download list of properly created "stealth" homebrew apps, then there's no need for editing or deleting logs.

So basically you just delete the .dat files in File manager? What happens if you delete the entire thing? (Can't use FTP since some reason it can't connect no matter what i do)
