Method 2:
you need to disconnect from psn and disable internet connection from ps3
then use ftp server, backup manager, file manager etc..after you finish, copy the log files to your pc and open with notepad, delete all text contains and "upload" to ps3,enable connection and connect to psn...

Use file manager for clean the log.
(for file manager it's require advance mode: press select and delete the log)

position of log file:

    -/dev_hdd0/home/[user number]/etc/boot_history.dat

-/dev_hdd0/vsh/pushlist/game.dat

-/dev_hdd0/vsh/pushlist/patch.dat

*user number example:
if in your ps3 you have for example this user:

    kalakus

popos

lotres

in dev_hdd0/home/

    

01 = kalakus

02 = popos

03 = lotres

if you use an homebrew in user kalakus you need to enter in 01 folder for delete the log.

you dont need change only homebrew name..you need to change:
HomeBrew or PKG name and ID using: PS3SFOEdit
remember to insert VALID id for stealth homebrew.
Example:
you give to Ftp Server name of: Call Of Duty Black Ops but you dont change the ID in correct mode...result?

you have an app run under name of COD Black Ops With ID of Ftp Server.
(you can see logged ID app from /dev_hdd0/home/[user number]/etc/boot_history.dat)

im play:

ftp server in stealth mode with name and ID changed. (disconnect from psn only)
file manager (disconnect from psn only)
backup manager (disconnect from psn and internet - #see backup games procedure.)
and other

im delete log all time...and my account was not banned..so after various tests I can say it is a good way to protect themselves from the ban

If I just used CFW to do modded lobbies do I really need to do this?

For host CL you used one or more homebrew (like: ftpserver, file manager etc) your log it's send to sony...you dont need to do this..it's late.

Ok guys the only thing that I have done since i got CFW was hack the COD4, W@W and MW2 patches,and played hacked lobbies online so do you guys think I should do this?Holy crap do you guys think I'll get banned eventually =(

i've been using homebrews going online with bakup games and do everithing i want with the 3.55 cfw and my account is still alive
when the 3.60 will came out i'll clear the logs unistall every games and homebrew and so update
sony can't bann all this people
they are focused on he next patch that wll fix all

when 3.60 firmware come out im dont update the firmware :pedo:

with 3.55 cfw "you" can play backup games (singleplayer) for free...like. fallout, dead space etc...im prefer to play offline "free" games...

    

ecco dato che sei italiano scrivo anche in italiano che mi viene meglio,

dicevo che preferisco come scelta personale restare al 3.55 e rinunciare

all'online (decisione pazza) che passare al 3.60 e perdere questa possibilità 

di poter giocare a giochi offline o con gli amici a casa gratuitamente facendomi 

prestare i dischi..alla fine l'online non è tutto...e se voglio farmi qualche partita 

online uso il pc e hamachi con gli amici...non è la stessa cosa forse ma potrebbe 

essere l'ultima possibilità di giocare con i backup su ps3...o una delle ultime...

abbiamo sudato per questo cfw 3.55 e non me lo farò portare via facilmente.
