Second of all Sony can not destroy peoples systems purposely. They will have a lot of lawsuits. The only thing we are doing is violating the warranty. They could also make a mistake in this update and sometimes it would brick anyones ps3 so I don't think they would take the risk.
Also to whoever made the edited picture. You need to learn how to use grammar. Sentences don't start with "and". Nice try though.

Wowie. I was officially pooing myself!
I tryed my hardest to go back to the OFW. However i couldnt because the PS3 would not see the update that i had got off of sonys site.

Also im not sure but if it was going to brick our consoles, wouldnt have geohot come out and said something about it?

unless you hear something official from sony there is going to be no updates, and if they did manage to release an update to brick our ps3's we would have to UPDATE for them to be bricked, so you just download the official update from thier website and transfer it using a usb like the custom firmware

frankly, the worry is a little stupid. you have to dl updates for them to even effect you. if they release the new one and it is reported to brick consoles, if we want to upgrade we can simply dl the original 3.55 fw and then update. there have to be a few hundred different uploads of it by now, xD.
