(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello was hoping someone may have some direction I was at 3.41 updated to 3.55 then installed geohots cfw upon completing it only beeped 3 times I then tried installing again and again and again all with no luck on resulting with a partial install with option to install packages but not actually being able to (only result was error 80029567) I then attempted to restore via recovery mode to 3.55 ofw and that was unsuccesful and only produced error 8002F2CF I tried through the xmb option which resulted in it saying no applicable updates available which has now left me stuck I can't restore Nor properly install any form of cfw via recovery or xmb (I can install geohot cfw but never correctly only result is 3 beeps) I have tried re download and reinstalling several times.. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Thanks guys I appreciate all the help but I've done all those already minus downloading the ofw again which I will once i get home ... The error code I received was when installing the ofw not the cfw via recovery mode and it would not allow me to install ofw
Via xmb staing invalid update found ... geohots fw was not availlable in recovery mode always giving the corrupt file error but was nstalled via xmb but incorrectly as it only beeped three times after shutting down upon completion not the correct 8 times and will not install any packages but has the option to though I've tried installing from all ports as well and have had all the update pups in the correct location on my usb (PS3>UPDATE> )basicly i can't do anything in regards to fw change as each each version and method produces a different error and the only one that installs is the geohot cfw via xmb but it does not work correctly (doesn't install packages)

well try installing a signed pkg pop em in the root of the usb and go over to game and see if you have a folder called install packages

Lol as I mentioned I've tried this many times nothing will install just gives me an error But thank you for the suggestion

Alright downloaded ofw again attempted to install now there is a new error of 8002F2C5

Andddd now trying to install the newest download of the 3.55 ofw via restore menu i get error 8002F2CF Ughhh it seems hopeless

perhaps your on the wrong revision of 3.55 because theres 2 versions

ive got the same problem as the OP, but, mine installed correctly with all the beeps...
