(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello was hoping someone may have some direction I was at 3.41 updated to 3.55 then installed geohots cfw upon completing it only beeped 3 times I then tried installing again and again and again all with no luck on resulting with a partial install with option to install packages but not actually being able to (only result was error 80029567) I then attempted to restore via recovery mode to 3.55 ofw and that was unsuccesful and only produced error 8002F2CF I tried through the xmb option which resulted in it saying no applicable updates available which has now left me stuck I can't restore Nor properly install any form of cfw via recovery or xmb (I can install geohot cfw but never correctly only result is 3 beeps) I have tried re download and reinstalling several times.. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

I had the same problem, just download the OFW 3.55 and update your ps3 wit it, then update it with Geohots CFW 3.55, and redo it!

Yes I understand but I am unable tondo that aswell it says something all the lines of no valid update when done through xmb

the sony is supose to shut off while beeping like a mad mofo that means it works then it shuts off and restarts

You were running 3.55-jb perfectly fine. That error code I underlined just means the code for the pkg you were trying to install is unsigned. :bro:

Have you tried downloading the OFW a second time? I had same issue and second one downloaded worked. Not sure why

My did that but just shut down. Didnt restart

Since you already downloaded the geohot patch on your PC already, find it, plug in your usb to your PC. Go into the usb files and click on ps3 then go to update folder, then paste in the .PUP (geohot firmware) then put the usb into the PS3 (the one closest to the power button) and go to system update and download via storage device and there you go.
