Pros: Homebrew(emulators,file manager,Ftp server,cheats)
cons: banned from PSN if got detected

The Advantages of Having Gehot custom Firmware u can Install Signed FTP server which means u can host MW2 lobbies and u dont actually jailbreak it u just intsall custom firmware
The Dis Advanatges there really are none

Haha ok well is there a risk of getting it bricked? Ive been hearing about this risk alot lately :L

I've read they can't brick your ps3, it's illegal or something.
They can Console ban you from PSN though.

not really unless you try to edit the custom firmware and u f*ck it up and then install it
