yes, you can create homebrew without having linux. ever heard of virtual machines? or cygwin...or really anything. frankly, i could probably do it on just windows if i was better with cmd. just takes someone crafty enough to do anything. and if you arent crafty enough, well, that is your problem. although, this is suspicious to me since ive seen beth post untrue things a few times now...

When a homebrew app or any app/game for that matter that shows a black screen is because it has the wrong checksums.

Make self npdrm allows you to sign the .self file which you get from decrypting the eboot.bin>eboot.self/elf.

Cygwin is a "terminal" port if you will to windows! That has to do with linux. VM is used to run"linux" so you have to have "linux" no matter how you run it or use it you need it to create homebrew.

**Anyone with two bits of sense would know this, the question you asked was, what is npdrm, not what does the command make_self_npdrm do.

He probably decrpyted open managers first unsigned .pkg so he could get the contents of the game, "usrdir", the whole gui, "eboot.bin"! And he changed the gui around so it looks like he made it and the re-package it and then sign it. = will not work, because open manager was written for firmwares below 3.55.
