I have taken apart my system and I heard if you take the motherboards battery out for 30 minutes it will work again is this true?

I've never heard of that. Plus wrong section....
I've heard of heat sync compounds and the box/blow dryer method (I USED THIS and it works very well)

Naw I think ps3 was setup to get YLOD to tell u the truth i never herd of yLOD intell this hacking scene came along, I think sony has put a curse on us.

My JB 3.41 sittin in my living room, turns on fine but after a while, It gets very loud Never had any problems before modding it...

But i still think sony put a curse on ps3s, It was like 1 in 10 get ylod, Now on the other hand xbox 360 omg, RROD everyday almost, my xbox 360 has died on me so many times.

You have to go buy the things to, And my causin did this and it didnt permentetly work for him i think a day or 15 minutes after it died again, Poor PS3, Feel sorry for it

If you think about getting rid of it I wouldnt mind paying you some cash for it, I've been trying to get my hands on a YLOD ps3
