Backups work, etc. But, on most of my backups now, when I launch them my PS3 freezes during the launch process. I'm not sure if it's the CFW or just my PS3. It's pretty ****in hot in my room right now, so I'm hoping its that.

Anyone else having this problem?

UPDATE: Seems to freeze a lot while going to in-game XMB, and the onlt way I can power my console down is by pulling the power cord out, which scares me.

My suggestion is don't use this FW, a more stable one will be out soon hopefully.

Yeah mines just started to start freezing,but now its happening the majority of time now.

you mean a black screen when the game loads, yh i have that problem too, they are saying he coded it badly, idk for sure

That guy on twitter ripped him apart for his CFW he failed on lol.

This information is useful, just more of a reason for me to wait it out.

Regarding the black screen when you try to run a backup, can be as easy that there has to be a random PS3 disk inside the drive. Uncharted 2 is the only game i manage to run (via multiMANn) without a disk inside the drive. Black ops required a disk ( i had uncharted 2 disk inside the drive),and it worked perfectly. ( used Rogero Manager v7.8, do not work with multiMAN though....):cry:

It froze my Mw2 backup (multiMAN)

Funny thing. I backed up Modern Warfare 2 and put a disc in the drive and it rebooted and SHOWED up in the XMB but no starting of the game (Rogero). About to try a couple more games to see if it is a persistent problem but I am hoping it isn't.
