(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright so a couple hours ago I updated to Waninkoko's CFW, and it works great (CECH-2001A).

Backups work, etc. But, on most of my backups now, when I launch them my PS3 freezes during the launch process. I'm not sure if it's the CFW or just my PS3. It's pretty ****in hot in my room right now, so I'm hoping its that.

Anyone else having this problem?

UPDATE: Seems to freeze a lot while going to in-game XMB, and the onlt way I can power my console down is by pulling the power cord out, which scares me.

My suggestion is don't use this FW, a more stable one will be out soon hopefully.

Maggbot timeout!
Not sure if this list has any relevance as to what games work and don't work but it states here that Modern Warfare 2 is not backup compatible at all. You must login or register to view this content.

My slim is unstable too after running it a while i see this now (CECH20A). Whatever i have faith he can fix this. So far playing vid via browser n exiting a bck up does the trick. I also froozed when sending a message to a friend but my ps3 does that sometimes so idk if its related. For now, ill make sure not to be greedy n wait a couple of days (Or HOURS). Before being a total idiot Smile

I haven't had any issues other than that. Although my HDMI went all whacked on me earlier but that was before I had this installed. That was when I had Geo'z CFW installed.

I'm glad I didn't tried this out, guys just stick with the .pkgs to boot backup game instead risking bricking your PS3s Winky Winky

Damn.

Seems the whole firmware is unstable. Not good...
Can we go back to OFW from recovery mode still? (Which I completely forgot how to go to lol)

Hi I have the same PS3 model as yours. After installing GEO's CFW and installing the packages, do i still need to go back to OFW before flashing Waninkoko's CFW ? or can I go straight to Waninkoko's CFW from GEO's CFEW ?

Tnx

You can go straight to Waninkoko's Winky Winky

That's what I did. Install everything you want first. Then once you update, install Rogeros.

Seems to freeze on in-game XMB a lot.

I wouldn't recommend using this CFW.
