Apparently there is a released patch for the "safer" CFW to give backup managers full functionality just like Waninkoko's less stable FW

Downloading as we speak and will post back with results XD

Error… Cat invasion!
This is just a patch, its working for me all you do is, (if you have Wutangrza installed + Geohots over the top) go to install package files install this pkg (takes 2 secs) back out then go to lv2patcher (the new icon it installs) then exit go multiman and it works Smile!

yeah according to the thread you have to install the package each time you power on your ps3, but this is a minor flaw, its only untill a coded backup manager is released to work with this fw and i'm almost certain deank aka MultiMAN creator is working on this as we speak.

so your saying... even that i do all the steps and all i should wait for a backup manager that supports this ? or would a MultiManager work ?

Does this work with all backups then? Such as MW2 online or Black Ops?

edit: if this seems to work with all games, I am going to be buying a much larger hard drive for my PS3 Smile

So I'm on waninkoko right now, if I get the official 3.55 update I can just update from a USB? It doesn't say you're already at this FW or something? Well that's easy...thanks.

well what this patch does is writes syscalls to lvl2 memory then all your installed backup managers will work, although you have to run the pkg everytime you power on your ps3, fully coded backup manager is on its way also
