Apparently there is a released patch for the "safer" CFW to give backup managers full functionality just like Waninkoko's less stable FW

Downloading as we speak and will post back with results XD

i didnt patch mine i downloaded a pre-patched pup should be second or third post down, also have installed the new patch successfully, running games smoothly, and no random freezes up to now, so all looks good XD

That's correct Derek, you just go from GeoHot>OFW (Via Storage Media)>War...(don't know how to spell it lol, the other CFW)>GeoHot

I have downloaded the patch and changed the name but my ps3 is saying: no applicable data found it wont let me update it to this file i tried testing with Geo's CFW and that stil works ok any ideas?

so that little 5mb patch isnt needed? because this ones the same size as ofw

the link i provided is the already patched pup, so just install that straight over ofw, then Geo's
