And yes they would be able to tell because I still had homebrew games installed when the console bricked. Maybe the brick is unfixable and they will just give me a new PS3 seen as my PS3 is still under warranty? :mudkip:

Warranty? Are you serious.... You completely voided the warranty when you put CFW on your PS3! They wouldn't fix it either.

Simple remove the hdd and get a new one as everything you can hack is located there it will be fine and they will replace it. unless u had CFW(not applications just the actual cfw) on it when it was bricked because thats stored on the NAD so they wouldnt replace it

the moment that custom firmware touched your system sony wont even touch it.... so your either going to have to find a way to unbrick or buy a new 1

You Cant Fix it Same What i did.. i tried fix it two times and just fail 'btw i fixed my old ps3'
so the motherboard WONT work they will give u new ps3 , same i sended my ps3.. im just waiting , i hope you get new ps3 .. Good Luck.

The component where the FW stored it is untouchable by any means other that by install fw
