(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, so I was just wondering; if I sent my bricked CFW PS3 back to sony then would they fix it for me or would they not do anything about it because it was because of CFW? And yes they would be able to tell because I still had homebrew games installed when the console bricked. Maybe the brick is unfixable and they will just give me a new PS3 seen as my PS3 is still under warranty? :mudkip:

Simple remove the hdd and get a new one as everything you can hack is located there it will be fine and they will replace it. unless u had CFW(not applications just the actual cfw) on it when it was bricked because thats stored on the NAD so they wouldnt replace it

I switched to OFW then tried installing Waninikoko's CFW and it caused a brick. I'm goin to format the hard drive if that is possible then send it to Sony.

I'm pretty sure if you use the method to downgrade a ps3 (putting it into service mode) you can unbrick it

If this was true, wouldn't this method be posted everywhere in the internet?
