I also sent other emails in regards to other questions such as "can we get banned using CFW?"

I sent the same email on different email accounts as well and will upload them to check for consistency. As of right now, this is proof from Playstation customer services that we will not get banned using backups.

This is not definite, and it does not tell us whether we can get banned using CFW however.


If you can, upload pictures of your email and whether or not you will get banned for "X" reason.

You can be banned legally as you used CFW to make it possible to run backup managers.

If you want proof of this read the T&C's for when you install official firmwares, and when you signup on PSN.

I mentioned that in my reply. However, I corrected her on the Piracy laws as I recall them. If she doesn't know the laws, I don't want to be talking with her. I want to be talking with someone who is in full awareness of the acts and can reply accordingly.
