So i looked around and found a little chart that is showing HUNDREDS of CFW testers results/opinions.

How to be sure you are on the OFW? Should the "Install package" map disappear or something? Sorry for the questions, but I want to be sure about things before I start the action. Lol.

Install the OFW with the link i provided in my last reply to you.

Install it in RECOVERY mode. Then YES the install .pkg and what not will be gone.

Then you can update to Kmeaws 3.55.

wait i have kmeaw and everytime i go to play a back up i run the lv2.pkg, are you guys tryin to tell me the CFW already has it in it and i dont have to run it everytime i turn on my ps3 to play a back up? or i still do?
