(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So EVERYONE and their auntie are making threads asking which CFW is better, making accusations, assumptions, and false facts on this topic as well.

So i looked around and found a little chart that is showing HUNDREDS of CFW testers results/opinions.

Question. What would you guys recommend for me? I got a original 60gig Phat/fat(which I swapped with a 250) I'm on 3.41, right now I got 3 signed apps for 3.41. I got gaia manager and its working great, I got snes emu, and I got blackbox. So...um all this talk about Sony gets me almost to the point of worry, I already commented on how and what I think about the entire thing. This leads me to feel that maybe I should stay on 3.41...and just try to get as many signed apps as I can onto it. Because um in some cases the main reason I want cfw 3.55 is because to get new games working but since I've recently had issues with the games locking up or giving me errors about video display....Im guessing Im not going to be able to play any of the new games. So...which brings me back to saying maybe I should stay on 3.41 and keep my signed programs and other nice homebrew.

I read the cfw's are freezing, even bricking consoles....especially 60gb models such as mine,...that is why I am also worried about installing cfw is because I got the console that seems to be bricking for people

Tell us your model. If it has 256 NAND then do not attempt. Yes, alot of those 60 GB older consoles are bricking. I was on 3.41 for a long time and decided to make the jump because I wanted to play the new games as well. I have a slim but those arent the console's bricking like the Phat models. You can take your chances but noone is gonna give you the go ahead knowing that we cannot say it wont brick your system. It could brick any system if done improperly. But those Phat units are 50/50. My brother has the Phat 80 GB and his worked well but that does not mean yours will go unscathed. Also what firmware are you thinking of putting on it IF you make the jump? So what's the model number off of the PS3?
