~How To Install~
Ok to install this you first need to rename it "datafile.big", next open up your ftp and connect it with the ps3. Now find your Dead Rising 2 backup and open it up, ( If you use multiman this will be in dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/BLXXXXXX). You now need to open the USRDIR and then the DATA folders and near the bottom there is a file called "datafile.big. Ok now you want to copy over the modded datafile.big, selecting yes to overwrite and your done now just play the game.

IMPORTANT~ MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL DATAFILE.BIG

What are the mods used:
~ Infinite use of weapons
~ Infinite ammo
~ Large arsenal of Combo weapons at the safe house and first maintenace room
~ Large collection of bikes outside the maintenance corridoor
~ Access to all vehicles without the need of a key
~ Extreme PP boost
~ Money collected is now 100,000 & slot machines pay 1 mill
~ There are a couple others but i'll let you have the surprise of finding them out for yourselves

How do you get dead rising 2 back up working? I can play it until i go through to open the platinum strip then it freezes ps3 and then i can't complete the mission to get to the safe house to see if the mod works.

It always freezes. IT DOESNT WORK...

Pretty much the only way to get it to work is deleting all Updated Patch Data apparantly, but then you lose costumes and online ability. = suck.

nope that doesnt work either also on this mod theres weapons in the security room u start off in with no freezes until u change area the other mod didnt have weapons in security room

Strange you all say it doesnt work but it works for me. I backed it up and I'm on 3.55 waninkoko used the ranger 7.8 works on both my 80gig and 40gig consoles i put it on my 320gig external HDD and it worked for me. I was on case 6-1 now on facts.

Umm, I'm on kmeaw's 3.55 with all updates for DR2/online and the mods I've tried have worked just fine.

tut on how to make them?

I think the playstation model may become a factor here, as in Fat or Slim because i have tried different PARAM files, different datefile.big files and nothing... I have a 250gb Slim & i am on Kmeaw's CFW but i just backed up with rogero instead of multiMAN so i will see if that makes a difference... and i am going on to Waninkoko's CFW
