(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I'm trying to back up GTA 4 with Multiman 1.13 and when I begin copying the game to my internal hard drive it gets to 4% and stops.. and the estimated time will slowly increase and it won't go any higher..

If I let it keep going it gets to 4% and it'll end up saying I have like 300+ minutes remaining..

Anyone know why this is happening? I'm using Geohotz 3.55 custom firmware if that matters.

well idk why its stopping like that but i can tell you that gta 4 won't start up on geohots firmware if you back it up and try to play it, unless you have the right eboot for it

My opinion is to use kmeaw's CFW and the latest version of Gaia manager. I have come across no problems with it. GTA 4 works flawlesly and every other game for that matter.

What's the difference between Geohotz and kmeaw's? Because I've heard that the kmeaw one has bricked peoples systems.

Try running lv2.pkg then multiman to play it as far as dumping it idk maybe try another manager to dump it like rogero.

Well you have heard wrong. It's wutangra's (forget name) CFW that has been bricking PS3's. Kmeaw's has had no reports of bricks. The reason it's not working for you is because Geohots CFW does not allow sys calls of lv 1 and 2 on the PS3(Peek and poke) which is required for back ups to work on the PS3. My advice is to update to kmeaw's CFW (Loads of tut's out there) and you will have no problem with playing back ups on your PS3. Hope this helps.

lol? i can back up on GeoHot MFW/CFW but not run them

delete it and reinstall it again
or
put ur ps3 back to OFW and re jailbreak it
