And this was really a last attempt and IT WORKED

I am so happy =D

Here's what i done ..

1. Went to dev/hdd0/NPAUXXXXXX (Was Warhawks folder) . Will probably work with any game folder .

2. Deleted Warhawk's USRDIR and replaced it with the USRDIR From my COD5 game .

2.5. Tried to run the game then but i got the corrupted data error yada yada /facepalm

3. Downloaded the latest WaW patch on my PC and installed it through the install package files on my XMB

4. Went on FTP/ Awesome File manager and copied the PARAM.SFO from the updated games folder (in my case dev/hdd0/game/BLES00354) to the place where i have my COD5 USRDIR (dev/hdd0/game/NPAUXXXXX) and it replaced Warhawk's PARAM.SFO .

5. Went back to the XMB and went to run Warhawk knowing it had the COD5 Files in it.

6. Literally closed my eyes cos i have been so frustrated trying to get this to work lol -.-

7. Heard that creep music in the COD5 Intro , I was so happy

8. Works like a charm , its easier than it looks but this was all coincedences i found this and i somebody else has i havn't seen it anywhere cos every single method i tried didn't work !!


PS : I didn't copy over the trophys folder yet and if you want to get them working you should copy them over .

I Think this should work with any game because none of the other methods worked with my COD5 and this DID .

Also if you want to go ahead and replace all the files like The images and names and stuff im sure it will still work

ill start messing with cod4 as I don't have W@W and see if I can get it working using the same method.

im not sure if this was happening before but now everytime i exit the game, the psn game i had on my xmb that was being used for waw disappears

Hey Nice find mate! Was just wonderin have you copied over the WAW patch/gamesave/backup image file and replaced it with the warhawk one? Then you will be able to run WAW with its own title image on the XMB instead of Warhawks lol

I think this could work with any Downloadable game, however Idk if warhawk is downloadable, just what i think, also I think one way we could fix games with the black screen is to try patching their eboots, then running them from a backup manager
