Well excitement was created when waninkoko announced custom firmware for the ps3 with backup support and PSN(online gaming) it seems that he has posted what we would be expecting with V2 of his CFW for 3.55

Waninkoko V2: New details

It’s a relatively quiet day for us on the scene, but here is something to cheer with a little info on the new version of Waninkoko CFW V2. The previous version of Waninkoko had created an uproar in the community, by the hundreds of PS3 bricks following the installation of the CFW.

But do not worry about the V2 because it would have found the reasons for the bricks.

Here are some details on the CFW waninkoko V2:

- A new payload for his CFW, based on the payload Hermes + on some functions of the payload PL3

-However, the payload, according Waninkoko not work on CFW Kmeaw.

The CFW-patches will be provided. pkg for easy installation

The CFW-use function Peek / Poke with some additional tools like the tools and CFW kmeaw Flukes1

Many people (who have passed the test of the brick) praised the first version, with the launch of backups without too many problems.

Hopefully the new version of CFW waninkoko be a more stable version.

Nope sorry I bought all those games legit I love god of war III and I support Naughty Dog to the fullest bought Uncharted 2 twice once the night it came out and again when the goty edition came out still hold both copies and I've had Uncharted 1 since the day it came out also amazing game. As for God of War III I wasn't there the night it released cause I had to study for an exam got it the next day though Smile. I do however backup the games I own cause personally I have been through a few scratched blu rays... don't give me that blah about how there super tough either cause when you got a little bugger of a cousin running around throwing everying in site... it can happen believe me + boot from hdd is WAY faster on games like Dragon Age on a slim... if the ps3 supported backups natively it would be amazing main reason I use cfw is to back up my own games and to experiment with the ps3. I think its fun trying to modify some .mnv files to support steroscopic 3d blu ray rips at the moment hoping to get some results

100% agree on that.
I wonder why there's no option "copy entire game to hdd" on the original games or something like that.. Would boost the performance in a sick way, as it does now. Since I jailbroke my ps3 I feel I've got a MUCH better console than before Smile
