1) If I put Geohot CFW on it, would it brick my console?

2) If I want the hacks from my 3.56 PS3, do I do a data transfer to get my Data on my PS3 I am going to update?

3) Should I wait for a new CFW to come out?

Lol at all these newbie jailbreakers telling you to update a 3.41 console...
They have never been introduced to the 3.41 JB so they think CFW is amazing
Dont do it, if your using a dongle like ps3key then there will be a 3.56 spoof soon so you can get back online.
Tons of Homebrew, Backups and online all on a 3.41, whats the need for 3.55 CFW or 3.56 OFW

1) Geohots CFW will not brick your system. All bricks are caused by human error.

2) I can't comprehend that part.

3) If you decide to wait expect a long wait. How long did it take for a jailbreak to come out for 3.55?
