(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); need a better solution than filezilla FTP, when i try that way the transfer speed is under 200kbps :O . i can download 10 times as fast /facepalm

it could be my shitty ethernet cable though

so is there a better way? can i somehow use file manager

It is said to be better than blackbox ftp at transferring larger files at a time. You might want to give it a try but it should work well :P

If not I would say format an external HDD and then use awesome file manager but I definately suggest using this first to save the hassle of it all if it works Smile

i think the solution is to get a gigabit ethernet cable

you said you have an external, right?

what i do is download the game, extract the files onto my external (you have to make sure the external is a FAT32 format or PS3 cannot read it) then open up multiMAN and just copy the game onto my internal.

I say get a 4GB or higher USB flash drive and put the files in there. Plug it in your PS3. Use Awesome Fil Manager and do the same thing you would do on Filezilla.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this.

Splits the game into parts that can fit onto fat32. It's compatible with multiMAN join/split functions and Comgenie's file manager (which joins the file) onto your internal HDD.

ethernet cable is the best solution but there are many different types.. the highest priced ones costs alot but can transfer over 100 Mbit/s

100BASE-T google it you can find these cheap as chips they transfer twice as fast as cat 3e.. But the problem with this is you might have to rewire your pci/e ethernet card for these to run as fast as possible! your best bet is to use file manager

When i do file transfers on Filezilla, I DON'T use the normal everyday network to complete it because my Transfer speed will result in 1mb speed, Instead i whip out my old router and connect the PS3 to it and my PC only and do it that way, And doing so my Speeds result into 10mb-15mb, So if you have an old router somewhere or even the one you use now try it out that way.
