how? the only thing i can do is turn it on and off it wont respod to anything i do it seams. like it will beep twice if i hold the power button as if im doing recovery but it just starts the install again

uhhh just call sony then? unless you try to brick it by pulling out the power cord mid-installing and then go into recovery when it's bricked with whatever fw you want on a usb in ur ps3....?

If you are below 3.56 then hold the power button down untill it beeps 3 times.

3.56

1. DO HARD-RESET. (holding powerbutton)

2. 2. HOLD eject button+ power button. untill its on and off again!!

3.JUST HOLD eject and tab power once, and hold it untill beeps twice!!

i cant do ANYTHING its on 2.41 and it doesnt have automatic update.

Not saying u should but have you tryed a forced brick i hate that suggestion :jim:
