(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hello, i know the drive has to be formated with fat32 but there is a limitations on single files size(4gb) is there anyway around this because i just read a thread saying there was and im calling bs.

Yea!

A few games will load a bit slower on External but still work fine in the end.

well jeez external seems to be the way to go you can transfer them alot faster

It can be easier than using your PS3 HDD because then you can take it to your friends house for example. (that's if he's done the same thing with his PS3.)

Also I'd go for MultiMan, it's more updated than the others and has a greater compatability.

MultiMan does the splitting whilst it's backing up a game.

the way i inderstood it i thought he was transfering to a external and had a file over 4gb so he would need to split it

MultiMan splits files when it copies a Blu-Ray to the PS3's Internal HDD in the first place, so going from Internal to External wouldn't require anything else.

will this work :

I splitted a install.bin file int 2 parts it had over 5gb

now they are named install.666

Transfer from pc -> externa hdd

now i put my external hdd into my ps3 start up Multiman and ----> copy the game to ps3 hdd ??


Will this reunite the 2 parts??
