Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, I dont have an external HDD to use to either store or transfer backups from my computer to the PS3. I have not had any luck getting FTP to work for me (I hate messing with IT shit). But i have had quite a bit of luck using just a regular 8 gig flash stick to transfer from my comp to the PS3.

However, this is somewhat limiting because of the size constraint....being only 8 gigs....The selection of games small enough to fit on there is lacking. At some point i will get an external , but for the time being I cant work it into my budget.

If I use a file splitter program to break up say, a backup thats 12 gigs into 2 parts, could I then load them one at a time onto the flash drive for transfer to my PS3 internal HDD?

Heres what I'm currently running:

120 gig Slim - 3.55kmeaw - multiMAN

Go to multiMAN thread at PSX-SCENE and download split4G. There you can use the program to split up your games, and then on the PS3 combine them again via multiMAN of course.

how do you combine them again i have been trying to do it on multiMAN with read dead redemption and cant figure it out
