As an FYI, if this does work, expect this to result in the first wave of actual console bans from Sony.
If you sign on and don't respond correctly to their remote code execution calls a few times, expect to be permanently banned.
This is different than all those other times. They had ways to prevent illegitimate users from accessing PSN (simply by forcing a new firmware version that breaks homebrew). This trick doesn't have a "fix" other than to ban the console.
With the previous times it wasn't in Sony's best interest to ban the console (since they want the user to upgrade back to OFW and continue to spend money on the store), but with this, it might not be worth taking the time to try and fix this (would require a serious infrastructure change with the PSN itself I think) and instead would just be easier to ban the offending consoles.
That said, I guess it doesn't matter that much. If you're on 3.55 you're essentially "banned" anyway, so might as well give it one last hurrah

He said that and i quote "ESSENTIALLY BANNED". That may be but you always have the option in upgrading to the OFW and getting back onling with your friends but if you do pull this new "BYPASS 3.56" off you are risking the ability of going back online because like he just said......you can get "CONSOLE BANNED" and this is not that lil BLACK OPS BANNED...oh no...this is a SONY PERMANENT BANNED ....in other words you wont be able to play Jack Shyt!!..lol....no black ops no nothing....zero...no more online activities for you buddy..so yea Good Luck to all those who manage to pull this off.

As a proud Waninkoko/CFW Supporter and someone who usually uses all the latest hacks ect. unfortunately i wont be doing this because i cant risk my PSN account right now. After this gets patched and IF a ban-wave comes through i wont be ever going on PSN on hacked CFW though if they dont get banned.. you can count me in!
