Yes I'm using windows 7

Must be something to do with windows 7.

No because I use it on my laptop with no problems, but still can't get pass the "update needed" thing on psn

PS3DNS.exe always crashes after I enter y/n.... PLZ ANY HELP?

Try running as an admin.
