(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As i have seen from the latest games i bought which are about 5 and also asked couple friends all the latest games will have a unique code in the back of the guide book (in the case of the game). That code is going to be needed to play online .So if you have rent a game for example and backed it up it wont have online access sorry .Unless a programm is created to generate special codes(which will probably not)

Your title makes it sound like every backed up game won't have online access which isn't true. It is true that games as of late have been adding codes but most of those games you can pay a small fee and still be granted access (Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit for example). All the older games that I have still have access with no problem (BlazBlue, Naruto Ninja Storm 1 and 2, LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2, ect).

i cant see this being true at all, if theres only 1 code to a game how the fuk can it be "rented out"? you rent a game and cant go online cause the codes already been used? i dont think so! No
the code will just be uploaded with the game anyway if its true, and whats to stop you wrighting down the code after backin up the game?

Perhaps we should start listing games that we've found that require a code so we will all know ahead of time. Only one I know of for sure is Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit but I will be doing some research and hopefully get a decent amount together.

Apparently the idea is Sony is going to integrate this code system into every new game released to prevent piracy.
